In section 8 of the Coroners Act 1988 (duty to hold inquest) after subsection (6) add— (7) This section applies in relation to service custody premises (within the meaning of section 300 of the Armed Forces Act 2006) and persons detained in such premises as it applies in relation to prisons and prisoners.
