s 57 Infanticide (England and Wales)
(1) Section 1 of the Infanticide Act 1938 (c. 36) (offence of infanticide) is amended as follows. (2) In subsection (1)— (a) for “notwithstanding that” substitute “ if ” , and (b) after “murder” insert “ or manslaughter ” . (3) In subsection (2)— (a) for “notwithstanding that” substitute “ if ” , and (b) after “murder” insert “ or manslaughter ” .
