s 81 Delegation of functions
(1) A chief officer of police of a police force in England and Wales may authorise a person to exercise the chief officer's functions under this Chapter. (2) The Chief Constable of the British Transport Police Force may authorise a person to exercise the Chief Constable's functions under this Chapter. (3) The Director General of the National Crime Agency may authorise a person to exercise the Director General's functions under this Chapter. (4) The Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland may authorise a person to exercise the Chief Constable's functions under this Chapter. (5) The Director of Public Prosecutions may authorise a person to exercise the Director's functions under this Chapter. (6) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (7) The Director of Public Prosecutions for Northern Ireland may authorise a person to exercise the Director's functions under this Chapter.
