(1) Section 168 (appointment of persons to carry out investigations in particular cases) is amended as follows. (2) In subsection (4), in paragraph (c), for “an authorised person” substitute “ a person ” . (3) In that subsection, after paragraph (h) insert— (ha) a person may have performed a controlled function without approval for the purposes of section 63A;
