In section 48 (special reviews and investigations)— (a) in subsection (2) after paragraph (b) (and before the “or” immediately following it) insert— (ba) the exercise of the functions of the National Health Service Commissioning Board or a clinical commissioning group in arranging for the provision of NHS care under the National Health Service Act 2006, (b) in subsection (8) omit paragraph (a) and the word “or” immediately following it.
