(1) Section 50 of the Equality Act 2010 (public offices: appointments, etc) is amended as follows. (2) In subsection (2) (meaning of “public office”) after paragraph (c) insert— (d) an office or post, appointment to which is made by the Lord Chief Justice or the Senior President of Tribunals. (3) In each of subsections (3) to (6), (9) and (11)(b) (offices within subsection (2)(a) or (b)) for “or (b)” substitute “ , (b) or (d) ” .
