In section 9 of the Senior Courts Act 1981 (which includes provision for requesting certain judges to act as judges of other courts) after subsection (2C) insert— (2CA) In the case of a request to a person within entry 5 or 6 in column 1 of the Table to act as a judge of the High Court, the appropriate authority may make the request only if the person is a member of the pool for requests under subsection (1) to persons within that entry.
