A UK law enforcement agency must pay the appropriate amount to the Director General if— (a) the Director General performs a task in response to a request by that agency under section 5; or (b) the Director General provides that agency with assistance— (i) in response to a request under Part 3 of this Schedule, or (ii) in accordance with a direction under Part 3 of this Schedule.
