(1) Section 3 of the Christmas Day (Trading) Act 2004 (enforcement) is amended as follows. (2) Omit subsection (3). (3) Before subsection (4) insert— (3A) For the powers available to a local authority and the inspectors appointed by it under subsection (3) for the purposes of the duty in subsection (1), see Schedule 5 to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
