reg 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation
(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Planning (Control of Major-Accident Hazards) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 20th April 1999. (2) In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires– “ the Act ” means the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990 and references to sections are to sections of that Act; “ the Order ” means the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) Order 1995 .
