Sch 5 para 10 Children Act 1989 (c. 41)
In the Children Act 1989— (a) in section 45 (duration of emergency protection orders and other supplemental provisions), in subsection (12), for the words “registered health visitor” there shall be substituted “registered midwife”; (b) in section 48 (powers to assist in discovery of children who may be in need of emergency protection), in subsection (11), for the words “registered health visitor”, there shall be substituted “registered midwife”; and (c) in section 102 (power of constable to assist in exercise of certain powers to search for children or inspect premises) in subsection (3), for the words “registered health visitor”, there shall be substituted “registered midwife”.
