Sch 5 para 16 The Health Act 1999 (c. 8)
In the Health Act 1999— (a) in section 60 (regulation of health care and associated professions), in subsection (2), in paragraph (b), for “the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1997” there shall be substituted “the Nursing and Midwifery Order 2001”; and (b) in Schedule 3 (regulation of health care and associated professions), in paragraph 8 (certain functions not to be transferred from regulatory body), in sub-paragraph (3) “or the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1997” shall be omitted.
