reg 11 Employer notification of decision to initiate negotiations
(1) The employer may start the negotiation process set out in regulation 14(1) on his own initiative by issuing a written notification satisfying the requirements of paragraph (2), and where the employer issues such a notification regulations 14 to 17 shall apply. (2) The notification referred to in paragraph (1) must— (a) state that the employer intends to start the negotiating process and that the notification is given for the purpose of these Regulations; (b) state the date on which it is issued; and (c) be published in such a manner as to bring it to the attention of, so far as reasonably practicable, all the employees of the undertaking.
