reg 27 Right to time off for information and consultation representatives, etc.
(1) An employee who is— (a) a negotiating representative; or (b) an information and consultation representative, is entitled to be permitted by his employer to take reasonable time off during the employee’s working hours in order to perform his functions as such a representative. (2) For the purposes of this regulation, the working hours of an employee shall be taken to be any time when, in accordance with his contract of employment, the employee is required to be at work.
