In article 14 (EEA qualifications)— (a) in paragraph (1)— (i) for “outside the United Kingdom” substitute “ in a relevant European State other than the United Kingdom ” , and (ii) for “an EC Directive” substitute “ the Directive ” ; (b) in paragraph (2)(a)— (i) for “a Directive issued by the Council of the European Communities” substitute “ the relevant provisions of the Directive ” , and (ii) for “circumstances; and” substitute “ circumstances. ” ; and (c) omit paragraphs (2)(b) and (3).
