In section 44 (effect of disqualification in another member State on registration in the United Kingdom)— (a) in the heading, for “member State” substitute “ relevant European State ” ; (b) in subsection (1)— (i) for “an EEA State” substitute “ a relevant European State ” , and (ii) after “section 3(1)(b)” insert “ , 14A or 19A ” ; (c) in subsection (2)— (i) for “the EEA State” substitute “ the relevant European State ” , (ii) for “primary United Kingdom qualification or primary European qualification” substitute “ medical qualification ” , and (iii) in paragraph (b), after “prohibited” insert “ (whether on a permanent or temporary basis) ” ; (d) in subsections (3), (5) and (6), after “section 3(1)(b)” insert “ , 14A or 19A ” ; and (e) omit subsection (7).
