reg 51 Amendment of article 18
In article 18 (removal and suspension from the Registers)— (a) in paragraph (2), omit “Subject to paragraph (3) and (4),”; (b) after paragraph (2) insert— (2A) If a person whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register pursuant to article 10(2)(d) ceases to satisfy either of the conditions specified in that provision, the Registrar of the GMC may remove that person's name from the General Practitioner Register. (2B) If a person whose name is included in the Specialist Register pursuant to article 13(2)(d) ceases to satisfy either of the conditions specified in that provision, the Registrar of the GMC may remove that person's name from the Specialist Register. (c) omit paragraphs (3) and (4).
