reg 19 Consultation with and participation of workers
In consulting with workers in accordance with regulation 20 (consultation with workers) of the General Duties Regulations, an employer must consult workers or their representatives on the control of exposure to asbestos and in particular on— (a) the assessment of risk under regulation 5, (b) measures taken to prevent or reduce risks arising from exposure to asbestos in accordance with regulation 8, (c) measures determined to be necessary to ensure protection of workers in accordance with regulation 10(4), (d) the provision of training and information in accordance with regulations 13 and 16, and (e) the arrangements for health surveillance in accordance with regulation 17.
