Nothing in this Code requires a service provider to provide information where disclosure of that information: (1) could result in harm to a person; (2) could affect the proper handling of any criminal investigation or prosecution, or could otherwise prejudice any civil or criminal case; or (3) would, in the service provider’s view, be contrary to the interests of national security.
