reg 70 Evaluation of pressure equipment or assemblies presenting a risk
(1) Where the market surveillance authority has sufficient reason to believe that pressure equipment or an assembly presents a risk, the market surveillance authority must carry out an evaluation to determine whether that pressure equipment or assembly is in conformity with the requirements of Part 2 applying in respect of that equipment or assembly. (2) Where an enforcing authority other than the market surveillance authority has sufficient reason to believe that pressure equipment or an assembly presents a risk, that enforcing authority may carry out an evaluation to determine whether that pressure equipment or assembly is in conformity with the requirements of Part 2 applying in respect of that equipment or assembly.
