reg 12 Consultation statement requirements
(1) The consultation statement prepared under section 47 (duty to consult local community) must set out— (a) whether the development for which the applicant proposes to make an application for an order granting development consent is EIA development; and (b) if that development is EIA development, how the applicant intends to publicise and consult on the preliminary environmental information. (2) In this regulation, “ preliminary environmental information ” means information referred to in regulation 14(2) which— (a) has been compiled by the applicant; and (b) is reasonably required for the consultation bodies to develop an informed view of the likely significant environmental effects of the development (and of any associated development).
