Article 1

1. The customs authorities are hereby directed, under Article 14(5) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036, to take the appropriate steps to register imports into the Union of certain polyvinyl chloride polymerised through suspension polymerisation (‘S-PVC’) and bulk (mass) polymerisation (‘M-PVC’) in pure form and not mixed with any other substance (‘S-/M-PVC’). The product concerned includes S-PVC classified as commodity S-PVC, extender S-PVC and specialty S-PVC. The product concerned does not include PVC polymerised through emulsion polymerisation (‘E-PVC’). The product concerned is currently classified under CN code ex 3904 10 00 (TARIC codes 3904 10 00 15, 3904 10 00 21, 3904 10 00 80 and 3904 10 00 81), and is originating in the People’s Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Mexico and Taiwan. 2. Registration shall expire nine months following the date of entry into force of this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union .
