Local Government Act 1976 s 68
Sections 85–93 were repealed by later amendments.
A local authority may, with the approval of the State Authority, determine the name by which any public place or housing estate or housing scheme shall be known and may from time to time alter the name of any public place or housing estate or housing scheme or of any part thereof whether or not such name was applied to such place, estate or scheme before the commencement of this Act.
Menamakan tempat awam, dsb.
Sesuatu pihak berkuasa tempatan boleh, dengan kelulusan Pihak Berkuasa Negeri, menetapkan nama dengan mana sesuatu tempat awam atau taman perumahan atau skim perumahan akan dikenali dan boleh dari semasa ke semasa mengubah nama sesuatu tempat awam atau taman perumahan atau skim perumahan atau mana-mana bahagiannya sama ada atau tidak nama itu telah digunakan bagi tempat, taman atau skim itu sebelum mula berkuatkuasanya Akta ini.
