s 48 Documentary proof

(1) Every document referred to in section 47 and sealed in the manner therein prescribed and every document in the form of a receipt, application, record, or register issued, made, or maintained under, by virtue, or for the purposes, of this Act shall be admissible as proof of the contents thereof. (2) A copy of any document referred to in subsection (1) or an extract therefrom, if certified by the chairman or president of the local planning authority, shall be admissible as evidence of the matters and transactions therein expressed in any case where, and to the same extent as, the original of the document would if produced have been so admissible.

(1) Tiap-tiap dokumen yang disebut dalam seksyen 47 dan dimeterai secara yang ditetapkan di dalamnya dan tiap-tiap dokumen dalam bentuk resit, permohonan, rekod, atau daftar yang dikeluarkan, dibuat, atau disenggarakan di bawah, menurut, atau bagi maksud, Akta ini hendaklah diterima sebagai bukti mengenai kandungan dokumen itu. (2) Suatu salinan bagi mana-mana dokumen yang disebut dalam subseksyen (1) atau sesuatu cabutan daripadanya, jika diperakui oleh pengerusi atau yang dipertua pihak berkuasa perancang tempatan, hendaklah diterima sebagai keterangan mengenai perkara dan urusan yang dinyatakan di dalamnya dalam mana-mana hal yang, dan pada takat yang sama seperti, salinan asal dokumen itu tentu akan diterima sedemikian jika dikemukakan.
