s 35 Presumption as to maps, plans or charts made by authority of Governments
(1) For the purposes of this Act, the court shall presume that maps, plans or charts purporting to be made by the authority of—
(a) the Federal Government;
(b) the Government of any State in Malaysia; or
(c) the Government of a “State” as defined in section 2 of the Exclusive Economic Zone Act 1984 and approved by the Federal Government or the Government of any State in Malaysia for use,
were so made and are accurate.
(2) For the purpose of paragraph (1)(c), a certificate issued by the Minister responsible for survey and mapping or the Minister responsible for defence stating that a map, plan or chart has been approved by the Federal Government or the Government of any State, as the case may be, shall, in any legal proceeding, be conclusive proof of the fact so stated.

Anggapan mengenai peta, pelan atau carta yang dibuat dengan kuasa Kerajaan
(1) Bagi maksud Akta ini, mahkamah hendaklah menganggapkan bahawa peta, pelan atau carta yang berupa sebagai dibuat dengan kuasa—
(a) Kerajaan Persekutuan;
(b) Kerajaan mana-mana Negeri dalam Malaysia; atau
(c) Kerajaan sesuatu “Negeri” sebagaimana yang ditakrifkan dalam seksyen 2 Akta Zon Eksklusif 1984 dan diluluskan oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan atau Kerajaan mana-mana Negeri dalam Malaysia untuk kegunaan,
telah dibuat sedemikian rupa dan adalah tepat.
(2) Bagi maksud perenggan (1)(c), suatu perakuan yang dikeluarkan oleh Menteri yang bertanggungjawab bagi ukur dan
pemetaan atau Menteri yang bertanggungjawab bagi pertahanan yang menyatakan bahawa sesuatu peta, pelan atau carta telah diluluskan oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan atau Kerajaan mana-mana Negeri, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, hendaklah, dalam apa-apa prosiding undang-undang, menjadi bukti muktamad mengenai fakta yang dinyatakan sedemikian.
