Ports (Privatisation) Act 1990 s 12
(1) It is the duty of a licensed operator to provide port services and facilities specified in its licence to such extent as is necessary for the licensed operator to meet the performance standards determined by the port authority under section 8. (2) A licensed operator shall have due regard to the efficiency, economy and safety of operation in respect of the services and facilities provided by it.
Kewajipan am pengendali berlesen
(1) Adalah menjadi kewajipan pengendali berlesen mengadakan perkhidmatan dan kemudahan pelabuhan yang ditentukan di dalam lesennya kepada takat yang perlu bagi pengendali berlesen itu mencapai standard prestasi yang diputuskan oleh pihak berkuasa pelabuhan di bawah seksyen 8. (2) Pengendali berlesen hendaklah memberi perhatian yang wajar terhadap kecekapan, ekonomi dan keselamatan pengendalian berkenaan dengan perkhidmatan dan kemudahan yang diadakan olehnya.
