s 42 Relevancy and effect of judgments, orders or decrees other than those mentioned in section 41
Judgments, orders or decrees other than those mentioned in section 41 are relevant if they relate to matters of a public nature relevant to the inquiry; but such judgments, orders or decrees are not conclusive proof of that which they state.
ILLUSTRATION
A sues B for trespass on his land. B alleges the existence of a public right of way over the land which A denies.
The existence of a decree in favour of the defendant in a suit by A against C for a trespass on the same land in which C alleged the existence of the same right of way is relevant, but it is not conclusive proof that the right of way exists.

Keberkaitan dan kesan penghakiman, perintah atau dekri selain yang disebut dalam seksyen 41
Penghakiman, perintah atau dekri yang selain yang disebut dalam seksyen 41 adalah berkaitan jika ia berhubungan dengan perkara daripada jenis awam yang berkaitan dengan siasatan itu; tetapi penghakiman, perintah atau dekri itu bukanlah bukti konklusif mengenai apa yang dinyatakan olehnya.
A membawa guaman terhadap B kerana pencerobohan terhadap tanahnya. B mengatakan bahawa wujud hak lalu-lalang awam di atas tanah itu tetapi A menafikannya.
Kewujudan dekri yang memihak kepada defendan dalam suatu guaman oleh A terhadap C kerana pencerobohan terhadap tanah yang sama dan yang dalamnya C telah mengatakan bahawa wujud hak lalu-lalang yang sama adalah berkaitan, tetapi ini bukanlah bukti konklusif bahawa hak lalu-lalang itu wujud.
