Syariah Court Civil Procedure (Federal Territories) Act 1998 s 102
s 102 Request for issue of subpoena
(1) Before a subpoena is issued a request in Form MS 20 for the issue of the subpoena shall be filed in Court; and the request shall contain the name and address of the party requesting for the issue of the subpoena if he is acting in person, or the name of the firm and the business address of the party’s Peguam Syarie.
(2) Issue of a subpoena takes place upon it being sealed by an officer of the Court.
(3) A subpoena shall be in one of the forms in Form MS 21, MS 22 or MS 23, as the case may require.

Permintaan bagi pengeluaran sepina
(1) Sebelum suatu sepina dikeluarkan suatu permintaan dalam Borang MS 20 bagi pengeluaran sepina itu hendaklah difailkan di Mahkamah; dan permintaan itu hendaklah mengandungi nama dan alamat pihak yang meminta sepina itu dikeluarkan jika dia bertindak secara sendiri, atau nama firma dan alamat perniagaan Peguam Syarie pihak itu.
(2) Pengeluaran sesuatu sepina terlaksana sebaik sahaja sepina itu dimeteraikan oleh seorang pegawai Mahkamah.
(3) Sesuatu sepina hendaklah mengikut salah satu bentuk dalam Borang MS 21, MS 22 atau MS 33, mengikut kehendak kes.
