s 18 Presumption of liability for advertisement
Where the conduct or representation in relation to any goods or services is made or published in an advertisement, the advertisement shall be deemed to have been made by—
(a) the person who directly or indirectly claims to supply the goods or services;
(b) the person on whose behalf the advertisement is made; or
(c) both of them,
as the case may require, unless the contrary is proved.

Anggapan mengenai liabiliti bagi iklan
Jika perlakuan atau representasi yang berhubungan dengan apa-apa barang atau perkhidmatan dibuat atau disiarkan dalam iklan, iklan itu hendaklah disifatkan telah dibuat oleh—
(a) orang yang secara langsung atau tidak langsung mendakwa membekalkan barang atau perkhidmatan itu;
(b) orang yang bagi pihaknya iklan itu dibuat; atau
(c) kedua-duanya,
mengikut kehendak keadaan, melainkan jika dibuktikan sebaliknya.
