Consumer Protection Act 1999 s 71

s 71 Prohibition on exclusion from liability

The liability of a person under this Part to a person who has suffered damage caused wholly or partly by a defect in a product, or to a dependant of such a person, shall not be limited or excluded by any contract term, notice or other provision.

Larangan pengecualian daripada liabiliti

Liabiliti seseorang di bawah Bahagian ini kepada seseorang yang telah menanggung kerosakan yang disebabkan secara keseluruhannya atau sebahagiannya oleh sesuatu kecacatan pada sesuatu keluaran, atau terhadap orang tanggungan orang itu, tidak boleh dihadkan atau dikecualikan oleh mana-mana terma kontrak, notis atau peruntukan lain.
