National Heritage Act 2005 s 58
s 58 Change of owner of a heritage object
(1) Any person who purchases or acquires a heritage object shall, within twenty-eight days of the date of the purchase or acquisition, notify the Commissioner in writing of that purchaser or acquirer’s name, particulars and address.
(2) Any change to the information under subsection (1) shall be notified to the Commissioner in writing within twenty-eight days.
(3) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

Pertukaran pemunya objek warisan
(1) Mana-mana orang yang membeli atau memperoleh suatu objek warisan hendaklah, dalam masa dua puluh lapan hari dari tarikh pembelian atau pemerolehan itu, memberitahu Pesuruhjaya secara bertulis mengenai nama, butir-butir dan alamat pembeli atau pemeroleh itu.
(2) Apa-apa perubahan kepada maklumat di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah diberitahu kepada Pesuruhjaya secara bertulis dalam masa dua puluh lapan hari.
(3) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar peruntukan subseksyen
(1) atau (2) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh apabila disabitkan didenda tidak melebihi sepuluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi satu tahun atau kedua-duanya.
