s 5 Duty of developer to convene meeting
(1) It shall be the duty of the developer to convene the first meeting of all purchasers.
(2) The developer shall give a written notice of the first meeting to all purchasers not less than fourteen days before the meeting.
(3) Without prejudice to subsection (1), if the developer fails to convene the first meeting within the specified period, the Commissioner may appoint a person to convene the first meeting of the Body within such time as may be specified by the Commissioner.
(4) The developer shall, until the establishment of the Body and subject to the provisions of this Act, be responsible for the maintenance and management of the property.
(5) Any developer who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both.

Kewajipan pemaju untuk mengadakan mesyuarat
(1) Menjadi kewajipan pemaju untuk mengadakan mesyuarat pertama kesemua pembeli.
(2) Pemaju hendaklah memberikan suatu notis bertulis mengenai mesyuarat pertama kepada semua pembeli tidak kurang daripada empat belas hari sebelum mesyuarat itu.
(3) Tanpa menjejaskan subseksyen (1), jika pemaju gagal mengadakan mesyuarat pertama dalam tempoh yang dinyatakan, Pesuruhjaya boleh melantik seseorang untuk mengadakan mesyuarat pertama Badan itu dalam masa yang dinyatakan oleh Pesuruhjaya.
(4) Pemaju hendaklah, sehingga penubuhan Badan dan tertakluk kepada peruntukan Akta ini, bertanggungjawab bagi penyenggaraan dan pengurusan harta.
(5) Mana-mana pemaju yang tidak mematuhi subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi dua puluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tiga bulan atau kedua-duanya.
