s 210 Civil liability for contravention of section 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207 or 208

(1) A person who suffers loss or damage by reason of, or by relying on, the conduct of another person who has contravened section 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207 or 208, may recover the amount of loss or damage by instituting civil proceedings against the other person, whether or not the other person has been charged with an offence in respect of the contravention or, whether or not a contravention has been proved in a prosecution. (2) This section shall not affect any liability under any other written law in respect of the conduct constituting the contravention.

Tanggungan sivil bagi pelanggaran seksyen 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207 atau 208

(1) Seseorang yang mengalami kehilangan atau kerugian yang disebabkan oleh, atau kerana bergantung pada, perlakuan orang lain yang telah melanggar seksyen 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207 atau 208, boleh mendapatkan amaun kehilangan atau kerugian itu dengan memulakan prosiding sivil terhadap orang lain itu, sama ada atau tidak orang lain itu telah dipertuduh atas suatu kesalahan berkenaan dengan pelanggaran itu, atau sama ada atau tidak suatu pelanggaran telah dibuktikan dalam suatu pendakwaan. (2) Seksyen ini tidak menyentuh apa-apa tanggungan di bawah mana-mana undang-undang bertulis lain berkenaan dengan perlakuan yang menjadi pelanggaran itu.
