Pathology Laboratory Act 2007 s 29
s 29 Records to be kept and produced
(1) The licensee shall keep or caused to be kept records relating to the operation of the licensed pathology laboratory for a period as may be specified by the Director General.
(2) The Director General may require the licensee to produce the records for inspection.
(3) A person who fails to keep or refuses to produce the records under subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable—
(a) in the case of a sole proprietor—
(i) to a fine not exceeding thirty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to both; and
five hundred ringgit for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction; or
(b) in the case of a body corporate or partnership—
(i) to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit; and
five hundred ringgit for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.

Rekod untuk disimpan dan dikemukakan
(1) Pemegang lesen hendaklah menyimpan atau menyebabkan supaya disimpan rekod yang berhubungan dengan pengendalian makmal patologi berlesen selama tempoh sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Ketua Pengarah.
(2) Ketua Pengarah boleh menghendaki pemegang lesen untuk mengemukakan rekod untuk diperiksa.
(3) Seseorang yang gagal menyimpan atau enggan mengemukakan rekod di bawah subseksyen (1) atau (2) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan—
(a) dalam hal tuan punya tunggal—
(i) didenda tidak melebihi tiga puluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi dua tahun, atau kedua-duanya; dan
melebihi lima ratus ringgit bagi tiap-tiap hari atau itu berterusan selepas sabitan; atau
(b) dalam hal pertubuhan perbadanan atau perkongsian—
(i) didenda tidak melebihi lima puluh ribu ringgit; dan
melebihi lima ratus ringgit bagi tiap-tiap hari atau itu berterusan selepas sabitan.
