(1) A notice or order required or authorized to be served under this Act may be served personally or by registered post.
(2) Where a notice or order is served by registered post, it shall be deemed to have been served on the day on which the notice or order would have been received in the ordinary course of the post if the notice or order is addressed—
(a) in the case of an individual, to the person’s usual or last known residential address or place of business; or
(b) in the case of a body corporate or partnership, to its registered place of business.
(3) Where the person, body corporate or partnership to whom there has been addressed a registered letter containing any notice which may be given under the provisions of this Act is informed of the fact that there is a registered letter awaiting him at the
post office, and such person, body corporate or partnership refuses or neglects to take delivery of such registered letter, such notice shall be deemed to have been served upon him on the date on which he was informed.

Penyampaian notis
(1) Suatu notis atau perintah yang dikehendaki atau diberi kuasa untuk disampaikan di bawah Akta ini boleh disampaikan sendiri atau melalui pos berdaftar.
(2) Jika suatu notis atau perintah disampaikan melalui pos berdaftar, notis itu hendaklah disifatkan telah disampaikan pada hari notis atau perintah itu sepatutnya diterima dalam perjalanan biasa pos itu jika notis atau perintah itu dialamatkan—
(a) dalam hal seorang individu, ke alamat kediaman biasa atau terakhir yang diketahui atau tempat perniagaan orang itu; atau
(b) dalam hal pertubuhan perbadanan atau perkongsian, ke tempat perniagaannya yang berdaftar.
(3) Jika orang, pertubuhan perbadanan atau perkongsian yang kepadanya telah dialamatkan suatu surat berdaftar yang mengandungi apa-apa notis yang boleh diberikan di bawah peruntukan Akta ini dimaklumkan hakikat bahawa terdapat surat berdaftar untuknya di pejabat pos, dan orang, pertubuhan perbadanan atau perkongsian itu enggan atau abai untuk mengambil penghantarserahan surat berdaftar itu, notis itu hendaklah disifatkan telah disampaikan kepadanya pada tarikh yang dia telah diberitahu.
