s 18 Vacancies in office of Governor, Deputy Governor or director
If the office of the Governor or any Deputy Governor or any other director becomes vacant before the expiry of the term for which he has been appointed, another person may be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in the case of the Governor or a director appointed under subsection 16(1), or by the Minister in the case of a Deputy Governor, for the unexpired period of the term of office of the person in whose place he is appointed.

Kekosongan jawatan Gabenor, Timbalan Gabenor atau pengarah
Jika jawatan Gabenor atau mana-mana Timbalan Gabenor atau mana-mana pengarah lain menjadi kosong sebelum habis tempoh yang baginya dia dilantik, seorang lain boleh dilantik oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agong dalam hal Gabenor atau seorang pengarah yang dilantik di bawah subseksyen 16(1), atau oleh Menteri dalam hal seorang Timbalan Gabenor, bagi tempoh jawatan yang belum habis bagi orang yang digantikannya itu.
