s 43 Power of investigation
(1) An authorized officer may investigate the commission of any offence under this Act.
(2) For the avoidance of doubt, it is declared that for the purposes of this Act, the authorized officer shall have all or any of the
special powers of a police officer of whatever rank in relation to police investigations in seizable cases as provided for under the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593], and such powers shall be in addition to the powers provided for under this Act and not in derogation thereof.

Kuasa penyiasatan
(1) Seseorang pegawai diberi kuasa boleh menyiasat pelakuan apa-apa kesalahan di bawah Akta ini.
(2) Bagi mengelakkan keraguan, diisytiharkan bahawa bagi maksud Akta ini, pegawai diberi kuasa hendaklah mempunyai segala atau mana-mana kuasa khas seorang pegawai polis tidak kira apa jua pangkat berhubung dengan penyiasatan polis dalam kes boleh tangkap sebagaimana yang diperuntukkan di bawah Kanun Tatacara Jenayah [Akta 593], dan kuasa itu adalah sebagai tambahan kepada kuasa yang diperuntukkan di bawah Akta ini dan bukan pengurangan baginya.
