s 8 Delegation of Registrarβs functions and powers
(1) The Registrar may, subject to such conditions, limitations or restrictions as he may think fit to impose, delegate any of his functions or powers imposed or conferred upon him under this Act, except his power of delegation, to any of the officers appointed under subsections 6(1) and 7(1) and any function or power so delegated may be performed and exercised by the officer in the name and on behalf of the Registrar.
(2) The delegation under subsection (1) shall not preclude the Registrar himself from performing or exercising at any time the delegated functions or powers.

Pewakilan fungsi dan kuasa Pendaftar
(1) Pendaftar boleh, tertakluk pada apa-apa syarat, had atau sekatan yang difikirkannya patut untuk dikenakan, mewakilkan mana-mana fungsi atau kuasanya yang dikenakan atau diberikan kepadanya di bawah Akta ini, kecuali kuasa pewakilannya, kepada mana-mana pegawai yang dilantik di bawah subseksyen 6(1) dan 7(1) dan mana-mana fungsi atau kuasa yang diwakilkan sedemikian bolehlah dilaksanakan dan dijalankan oleh pegawai itu atas nama dan bagi pihak Pendaftar.
(2) Pewakilan di bawah subseksyen (1) tidak menghalang Pendaftar sendiri daripada melaksanakan atau menjalankan pada bila-bila masa fungsi atau kuasa yang diwakilkan itu.
