For the purpose of this Act, “delivery” by a licensee of a postal article means—
(a) leaving the postal article at the address;
(b) depositing the postal article in a post office locked bag or letter box or any other receptacle or device provided for the receipt of postal article of the addressee; or
(c) leaving the postal article with the addressee or his servant or agent or with any other person considered to be authorized by the addressee to receive the postal article, according to the usual manner of delivering postal article to that addressee, and where the addressee is a guest or a resident at a hotel, delivery to the proprietor or manager of the hotel or his agent shall be deemed to be delivery to the addressee.

Serahan
Bagi maksud Akta ini, “serahan” sesuatu barang pos oleh pemegang lesen ertinya—
(a) meninggalkan sesuatu barang pos di alamat;
(b) mendepositkan sesuatu barang pos ke dalam beg berkunci pejabat pos atau peti surat atau apa-apa bekas lain atau peranti yang disediakan untuk menerima barang pos penerima; atau
(c) meninggalkan sesuatu barang pos dengan penerima atau pengkhidmat atau ejennya atau dengan mana-mana orang lain yang dianggap sebagai diberi kuasa oleh penerima untuk menerima barang pos, mengikut cara biasa bagi penyerahan barang pos kepada penerima, dan jika penerima
adalah seorang tetamu atau sedang tinggal di sesuatu hotel, serahan kepada tuan punya atau pengurus hotel itu atau ejennya hendaklah disifatkan sebagai serahan kepada penerima.
