Postal Services Act 2012 s 55
(1) All postal articles received from outside Malaysia may be opened and examined for the purpose of inspection at any postal network facility by a customs officer in the presence of an authorized employee of the licensee. (2) All postal articles that are opened for customs inspection shall be repackaged and stamped with the notice that the postal articles have been opened.
Pemeriksaan oleh pegawai kastam
(1) Semua barang pos yang diterima daripada luar Malaysia bolehlah dibuka dan diperiksa bagi maksud pemeriksaan di manamana kemudahan rangkaian pos oleh seseorang pegawai kastam dengan kehadiran pekerja pemegang lesen yang diberi kuasa. (2) Semua barang pos yang telah dibuka untuk pemeriksaan kastam hendaklah dibungkus semula dan dicapkan dengan notis bahawa barang pos itu telah dibuka.
