s 7 Direction by the Minister
(1) The Minister may, from time to time, issue directions to the Commission on the exercise of the Commission’s powers and the performance of the Commission’s functions under this Act, whether of a general character or otherwise.
(2) A direction issued under subsection (1) shall be consistent with the provisions of this Act which are relevant to the particular matter or activity.
(3) The Commission shall exercise its powers conferred under this Act in a manner which is consistent with such direction.
(4) Every direction shall be registered by the Commission as soon as practicable.
(5) The direction shall come into operation on the date of registration or such later date as the Minister may specify in the direction.
(6) The direction shall expire on such date as the Minister may specify in the direction or, if no date is specified, the direction shall be in operation until the direction is revoked.

Arahan oleh Menteri
(1) Menteri boleh, dari semasa ke semasa, mengeluarkan arahan kepada Suruhanjaya mengenai penjalanan kuasa Suruhanjaya dan pelaksanaan fungsi Suruhanjaya di bawah Akta ini, sama ada yang bersifat am atau selainnya.
(2) Suatu arahan di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah selaras dengan peruntukan Akta ini yang berkaitan dengan perkara atau aktiviti yang tertentu itu.
(3) Suruhanjaya hendaklah menjalankan kuasanya yang diberikan di bawah Akta ini dengan cara yang selaras dengan arahan itu.
(4) Setiap arahan hendaklah didaftarkan oleh Suruhanjaya secepat yang dapat dilaksanakan.
(5) Arahan itu hendaklah mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh pendaftaran atau pada suatu tarikh yang kemudian yang boleh dinyatakan oleh Menteri dalam arahan itu.
(6) Arahan itu hendaklah habis tempoh pada tarikh yang boleh dinyatakan oleh Menteri dalam arahan itu atau, jika tiada tarikh dinyatakan, arahan itu hendaklah berkuat kuasa sehingga arahan itu dibatalkan.
