s 113 Obligation of secrecy
(1) Except as provided under section 114, the name, identification card number, passport number, address of an informer or any other information which can lead to identity of the informer and the substance of the information received from an informer shall be kept secret and shall not be disclosed by any officer of goods and services tax or any person who in the ordinary course of his duties comes into possession of or has control of or access to the information to any person except the designated officer of goods and services tax authorized by the Director General.
(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years or to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to both.

Obligasi kerahsiaan
(1) Kecuali sebagaimana yang diperuntukkan di bawah seksyen 114, nama, nombor kad pengenalan, nombor pasport, alamat seseorang pemberi maklumat atau apa-apa maklumat lain yang boleh membawa kepada identiti pemberi maklumat dan bahan maklumat yang diterima daripada seorang pemberi maklumat hendaklah disimpan rahsia dan tidak boleh dizahirkan oleh mana-mana pegawai cukai barang dan perkhidmatan atau mana-mana orang yang dalam perjalanan biasa kewajipannya memiliki atau mempunyai kawalan atau akses kepada maklumat kepada mana-mana orang kecuali pegawai cukai barang dan perkhidmatan yang ditetapkan yang diberi kuasa oleh Ketua Pengarah.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang melanggar subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tujuh tahun atau didenda tidak melebihi satu ratus ribu ringgit atau kedua-duanya.
