Except for any of the purposes of this Act or for the purposes of any civil or criminal proceedings under any written law or where otherwise authorized by the Board—
(a) no member of the Board or any of its committees or councils or any employee or agent of the Board or any person attending any meeting of the Board or any of its committees or councils, whether during or after his tenure of office or employment, shall disclose any information obtained by him in the course of his duties; and
(b) no other person who has by any means access to any information or document relating to the affairs of the Board shall disclose such information or document.

Obligasi kerahsiaan
Kecuali bagi mana-mana maksud Akta ini atau bagi maksud apa-apa prosiding sivil atau jenayah di bawah mana-mana undangundang bertulis atau jika selainnya dibenarkan oleh Lembaga—
(a) tiada anggota Lembaga atau mana-mana jawatankuasa atau majlisnya atau mana-mana pekerja atau ejen Lembaga atau mana-mana orang yang menghadiri mana-mana mesyuarat Lembaga atau mana-mana jawatankuasa atau majlisnya, sama ada semasa atau selepas tempoh memegang jawatan atau pekerjaannya, boleh menzahirkan apa-apa maklumat yang didapatinya dalam penjalanan kewajipannya; dan
(b) tiada seorang lain pun yang melalui apa-apa cara mempunyai akses kepada apa-apa maklumat atau dokumen yang berhubungan dengan hal ehwal Lembaga boleh menzahirkan maklumat atau dokumen itu.
