(1) The Appellate Board shall have all the powers of a Sessions Court Judge for the purposes of summoning and enforcing the attendance of witnesses, the discovery and production of documents and materials, administering oath and recording evidence.
(2) All costs incidental to any proceedings before the Appellate Board is subject to the discretion of the Appellate Board.
(3) An order of the Appellate Board shall be enforceable as if it was a judgment of a Sessions Court.

Kuasa Jemaah Rayuan
(1) Jemaah Rayuan hendaklah mempunyai segala kuasa seorang Hakim Mahkamah Sesyen bagi maksud mengeluarkan saman dan menguatkuasakan kehadiran saksi, penzahiran dan pengemukaan dokumen dan material, mentadbir sumpah dan merekodkan keterangan.
(2) Semua kos yang bersampingan dengan apa-apa prosiding di hadapan Jemaah Rayuan adalah tertakluk pada budi bicara Jemaah Rayuan.
(3) Suatu perintah Jemaah Rayuan hendaklah dikuatkuasakan seolah-olah perintah itu ialah suatu penghakiman Mahkamah Sesyen.
