Section 1

SECTION 1. Section twenty-two of Act Numbered Eleven hundred and forty-seven is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 22. No transfer of large cattle of any age shall be valid unless such large cattle shall have first been branded and originally registered in the manner prescribed in sections six and eight hereof: Provided,, That large cattle under two years of age may be registered and branded gratis for the purpose of effecting a valid transfer, if the registration and transfer are made at the same time."
