AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE EXTERMINATION OF LOCUSTS AND THE SUPPRESSION AND PREVENTION OF RINDERPEST IN THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, THE PROVINCE OF NUEVA VIZCAYA, AND THE DEPARTMENT OF MINDANAO AND SULU, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The sum of twenty thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the Director of Agriculture, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Public Instruction, for the extermination of locusts and the suppression and prevention of rinderpest in the Mountain Province, the Province of Nueva Vizcaya, and the Department of Mindanao and Sulu, including expenses heretofore incurred since the first day of January, nineteen hundred and fifteen, for such purposes in the Mountain Province and the Province of Nueva Vizcaya: Provided, That this sum shall be available until the close of the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixteen.

Section 2

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
