AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE USE OF THE NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS.

Section 1

SECTION 1. The sum of twenty thousand pesos is hereby set aside out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to enable the National Research Council of the Philippine Islands to carry out the purposes for which it was established by Act Numbered Four thousand one hundred and twenty, entitled "An Act creating a National Research Council in the Philippine Islands for the promotion of research work along scientific lines."

Section 2

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
