AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TEN-BED CAPACITY HOSPITAL IN LABUAN, ZAMBOANGA CITY, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LABUAN PUBLIC HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.

Section 1

SECTION 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister of Health, a ten-bed capacity hospital in Labuan, Zamboanga City, to be known as the Labuan Public Hospital. This hospital shall be an extension of the Zamboanga General Hospital.

Section 2

SEC. 2. The Chief of the Zamboanga General Hospital shall assign or detail medical personnel under him to the Labuan Public Hospital.

Section 3

SEC. 3. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
