By virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I, Ferdinand E. Marcos, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Section 4 of Presidential Decree No. 925, "Organizing the Pampook na Katipunan ng mga Sanggunian," to read as follows:
"SEC. 4. Executive Committee. —There is hereby created an Executive Committee to be elected by and from the members of the Pampook na Katipunan ng mga Sanggunian which is authorized to act for and in behalf of said Pampook na Katipunan ng mga Sanggunian when not in session.
"The Executive Committee shall be composed of 7 members, to wit:
a) one governor or city mayor;
b) one barangay federation president;
c) one kabataang barangay federation president; and
d) four sectoral representatives.
"In addition to the above members of the Executive Committee, the President may appoint another member at large from each region."
This Decree shall take effect immediately.
