Preamble

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law and to correct certain typographical errors therein, do hereby order and decree the following:

Section 1

SECTION 1. A new section, denominated as Section 4, is hereby added and inserted after Section 3 of Presidential Decree No. 1738 which shall read as follows:

“Sec. 4. All acts, decrees, orders, rules and regulations, or parts thereof, as are contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Decree are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.”

Section 2

SEC. 2. Section 4 of the same Decree is hereby renumbered accordingly as Section 5.

Section 3

SEC. 3. This Decree shall take effect immediately.

Done in the City of Manila, this 16th day of January in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen hundred and eighty-one.
